New Beginning was founded and incorporated in 1997 as a non-profit corporation 501(3)(c). Since that time the ministry has helped many addicted adults to find hope. The ministry has a comprehensive recovery program that is based on the principles of Alcoholic’s Anonymous. The recovery program defines the problem, the solution, and a program of action that will lead to change. The program assists the addicted person by helping them to implement the twelve steps of recovery into their daily living.
New Beginning functions as an extended family, providing structure, guidance, discipline, support, and education. The ministry’s “A Design for Living” program includes morning meditation meetings, discussion meetings, recovery audio and video meetings, living skills workshops, Alcoholic’s Anonymous meetings, Narcotic’s Anonymous meetings, recovery workshops, daily chapel readings, speaker meetings, twelve step meetings, and relapse prevention.
New Beginning was founded as a non-profit corporation in 1997. We can accommodate 42 people at one time: 30 guests and 12 staff members or special guests. Joel’s House is the men’s quarters. Evergreen Lodge is the women’s quarters which also contains an overflow wing for men. We also have a third building which houses staff. We have a recreation room, a weight and exercise room, a quiet room for reading, a well appointed dining room, a laundry room, a full-service kitchen and very comfortable guest rooms. Recreational amenities include a built-in swimming pool, tennis, volleyball, basketball, billiards, horseshoes, and much more.
Our staff represents more than 100 years of recovery. We are all in the business because we care. Our simple daily program helps each individual to understand the disease of addiction, the solution to addiction, and how to implement a program of action that promotes change. We have had tremendous success helping the lost to overcome this deadly disease of addiction.
